The Risk Management Division handles all claims against the City of Encinitas and San Dieguito Water District to include investigations, litigation management, liability analysis, discovery, mediations and settlements.
The division is responsible for all safety programs for City staff. The Risk Manager handles worker's compensation, manages all insurance procurement for City and District Property, Faithful Performance Bonds, Liability, Errors and Omissions and special events coverage. The Risk Management Division also works closely with the City Attorney.
Liability claim forms are available in the Risk Management Division and must be returned to the City Clerk's office.
